All you big hair haters...

...need to check this out! I can't believe I didn't know about this revolutionary product before. Big Happie Hair Bump Its are the new asymmetrical bob--everyone must go out and get one immediately. I bet they sell millions of these in Texas and Alabama...and to moi. I'm getting one. Seriously. And so is everyone who has ever mocked my huge-ormous hair. There's no turning back to 'normal' hair once you know the truly transformative powers of the pouf!

Letter #7

Dear Mr. President,
Congratulations. It’s nice to know we’re on the same page. Yesterday, you said :

“We remain a young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set aside childish things.”
No kidding.

“Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met.”
I certainly hope so.

Let’s also hope that you are as good a president as you are a media celebrity. You may have managed to secure the adoration of the masses by appearing on Access Hollywood and listing your 7 Marriage Tips in Women’s Health, but remember what your real job is.

Now get to work.

Good luck,
Emily

P.S. As much as I’m not convinced that you’re the next JFK, I am convinced that your wife is the next Jackie-O. Please support her in continuing to make remarkable style choices.

This was me...

...snowboarding this weekend
Just kidding. It was really more like this:

But we had an awesome time, and after the first run, I actually didn't even fall too much. And considering what a scaredy-cat I am when it comes to anything that could even remotely be dangerous (like water slides!), it's a miracle I'm able board at all. Getting off the lift, however, is a different story :)

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today, Dustin and I have officially been married for two years! In honor of our special day, I wanted to post some pretty wedding pictures, but I was running really late this morning and forgot to grab the disc. Instead, here is a hilarious picture of us doing our best impersonation of White-Trash Barbie and Vernal Utah Ken. This also happened to be the first time Dustin met my Dad...and my Dad let us get married anyway.

I'm so grateful for a husband with a never-ending sense of humor, who lets me post pictures like this on our blog and doesn't get mad; who is endlessly patient with me and my shenanigans, lets me order all kinds of crazy health food online, allows me to stock our freezer with 5 different kinds of ice cream because I couldn't make up my mind at the store, who is so smart, loving, an amazing example and makes sure I'm always taken care of. I love you baby. Happy Anniversary.
